Series 2024B (Federally Taxable)

Pajaro Valley Health Care District (“PVHCD”) is preparing to offer its Series 2024 issuance of General Obligation Bonds. PVHCD plans to hold an order period on August 27, 2024. The Series 2024 Bonds are General Obligation Bonds secured by ad valorem property taxes collected within the PVHCD, an area encompassing an approximately 108-square mile area in southern Santa Cruz County, including the City of Watsonville, and northern Monterey County.

This is not an offer to sell bonds or a solicitation of an offer to buy bonds. To purchase the bonds, investors must have access to the Official Statement for the bonds and have access to a brokerage account.

The issuance of the Series 2024 Bonds will be the inaugural issuance for PVHCD, and the proceeds expected from the sale of the Bonds are to be spent primarily on the acquisition of the Watsonville Community Hospital land and real property from the current owner, and other improvements to the hospital. PVHCD is designating the 2024 Bonds as “Social Bonds” based on the social benefits of addressing the need for affordable, high-quality healthcare within the local community.
